Snow Canyon State Park offers a nice scenic drive and some short hikes through some fine red sandstone cliffs, twisted rock layers and lava flows. It doesn't compare to the outstanding national parks in the area, Zion and Bryce Canyon, but it is attractive and provides a quiet and pleasant way to spend some time.

If you're looking for a workout, this isn't your hike! If you're looking for a cool slot canyon with fun little cubbies to climb into this is a good option. Only $6 to drive into Snow Canyon State Park, but if you don't want to pay the entrance fee you can park outside and walk a ways up the road to get to it as well. If you wanted to you could also just hike the Gila Trail and take a few detours to go and see all of the Snow Canyon Petroglyphs but that is a much longer hike. This is a short hike, roughly 2hrs. long with NO fee to park at the trailhead. One of the best places to see Petroglyph in a slot canyon.
